Who I Am

Hi, my name is Avery Miller. I am originally from the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by forests, the Puget Sound, and Mt. Rainier in the distance. Now, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, where the city meets the Wasatch.

I am currently studying Urban Ecology and Planning at the University of Utah and will be graduating in May 2026. I plan on pursuing graduate school in the near future.

Throughout my studies, I have learned to think intentionally about space, people, and design, with an emphasis on visual communication and how built environments shape lived experiences.

Outside of the classroom, I love being surrounded by people. I am frequently found in the mountains skiing, seeking out new food trucks or sushi restaurants around the city, listening to 2016 rap music, or catching up on the latest football news (you will always find me watching the Bills on Sunday).

At my core, I am enthusiastic, curious, strategic, and always looking at the details. I am excited to get to work and apply my knowledge and perspective.
